REAL ESTATE SALESPERSON COURSE

Annex Real Estate School offers the pre-Licensing Real Estate Salesperson course in different formats for you. They are designed to accommodate the students’ individual learning methods and busy schedules.  There is the traditional easier paced, three or four week sales course, given mornings or evenings.  There is also an intensive 3 day course, that prepares you to become licensed over a single weekend.   Regardless of the format, each program has the state mandatory 24 hours of classroom instruction.

Students attending Annex Real Estate School’s Pre-licensing Salesperson Classes learn the fundamentals of the real estate business, including agency, legal issues, financing principles, property management, appraisals, fair housing, ethical practices, as well as how to close a real estate transaction.

Course graduates qualify for the state examination to become a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Once licensed, you will qualify to apply for an interview with our affiliated real estate office, Century21 Annex Realty.

 

REAL ESTATE BROKER COURSE

Massachusett licensed Real Estate Salespersons who have worked in the field, full time, for 12 months or longer,* can enroll in Annex Real Estate School’s  pre-Licensing Real Estate Broker Course.  This course is ideal for real estate professionals who are ready to take the next step in advancing their career.

This course, which is state mandated at 30 hours of instruction, is offered in several formats to meet the current needs of the students.

Students of our Broker Course have the opportunity to examine industry trends and topics in small seminar style classes.  They also enjoy the rare benefit of sharing valuable knowledge and on the job experience with like minded colleagues.  

Course graduates also have the advantage of walking away with an expanded network of contacts, educational enrichment and the personal satisfaction that accompanies the prestige of becoming a Broker.   

Graduates from the Broker Course qualify for the state examination to become a licensed Real Estate Broker in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

CONTINUING EDUCATION

Salespersons and Brokers, alike, must completed Massachusetts state requirements for Continuing Education on a regular basis. In order to maintain the license in the Active status, all licensees** are required to take 12 hours of Continuing Education instruction during the two year period prior to the renewal of their license.   Moreover, homeowners, landlords, renters or anyone interested in personal enrichment, can also benefit from our selection of practical courses.

 A sampling of the Continuing Education courses offered at Annex Real Estate School include,  Appraisal Process, Financing, Fair Housing, Consumer Protection, Agency Law, Lead Paint, Architecture, Closing and Settlement.   These course are taught from the perspective of the licensed real estate practitioner.  

* "Full time" is, as defined by the Rules and Regulations of the Mass. Board of Registration of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons

**Broker Licensees who were not required to take the Massachusetts license exam (Massachusetts attorneys and non-resident licensees), are not required to take the Massachusetts Continuing Education classes.  Non-residents submit proof that they have met their home state Continuing Education requirements.
